Lafayatte Park Mardi Gras Celebration

Please join the Young Friends of Lafayette Park for a two-part Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 11th. Both events will be held at the Kern Pavilion (Boathouse) in Lafayette Park

Kids’ Activities – 12:30-2:00pm

The kids’ activities will feature crafts such as mask decorating and bead making, snacks, and a balloon artist. This event is fully free.

21+ Celebration – 3:00-7:00pm

This portion is open to anyone over 21 (the event is hosted by the Young Friends of Lafayette Park, but you do not have to be young in age to join). The celebration will feature:

• • • Food: Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, King Cake
    • Drinks: Hurricanes, Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks
    • Music and Good Company
