Lafayette Park Mardis Gras Celebration

Please join the Young Friends of Lafayette Park for a two-part Mardis Gras celebration on Saturday, February 11th. Both events will be held at the Kern Pavilion (Boathouse) in Lafayette Park
Kids’ Activities – 12:30-2:00pm
This kids’ activities will feature crafts such as mask decorating and bead making, snacks, and a balloon artist. This portion is fully free.
21+ Celebration – 3:00-7:00pm
This portion is open to anyone over 21 (the event is hosted by the Young Friends of Lafayette Park, but you do not have to be young in age to join). The celebration will feature:
- Food: Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, King Cake
- Drinks: Hurricanes, Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks
- Music and Good Company
The 21+ Celebration is open to the public (you do not need to be a member of the Conservancy to join). Suggested donation of $25 – all proceeds benefit Lafayette Park. For this portion only, RSVP if possible to assist in planning http://evite.me/SqPJCT6HN2
