Lafayette Park Implementation Advisory Board


Authorized in 2005 by the Lafayette Park Master Plan, the responsibilities and authority of the Lafayette Park Implementation Advisory Board are as follow:
- Monitor implementation of and compliance with the Master Plan and provide ongoing community input about Lafayette Park
- Review significant modifications to the Plan
- Constitute a part of the public review process for major park projects
- Keep the public informed and advised of matters relating to the Master Plan

Board members are appointed by the City of St. Louis Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, typically for a term of four years. The board membership is representative of the following, up to a maximum of nine members:
- General City Representation
- Parks Department (x2)
- Alderperson for Ward Six
- Board of Public Service
- Lafayette Park Conservancy
- Neighborhood Representative at-large (x2)
- Landscape Architect/Arborist/Ecologist/Horticulturist
- Planner/Architect
